About the Event
With the goal of growing into the next generation, the NorCham-Chicago Board of Directors is focusing on the Young Professional Norwegians in Chicago.
For instance, we have partnered with the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce to host a Young Professional (YP) event at the Nordic House with 1st event on November 11, 2023 This event was free for YPs, and the board had authorized a $600 budget for our share of the expenses. The intern with SACC is a student at North park University, and she has a large network of Norwegian classmates and recent graduates, so we are expecting a good turn-out.
We hope that you will support this event in two ways:

We are accepting sponsors for the event with a donation of $100 or more. You or your company will be recognized on the event advertising and at the Nordic House. These donations will help defray the cost of the event and provide funds for future YP events.
$Mentorship
We are asking for volunteers to be Mentors for the YP program. The Mentorship program will be a valuable resource for the young Norwegians as they begin their careers in Chicago.
